Delivery and value
What you receive
The value of a consultation lies in what it helps you understand and what you can revisit later. You should be able to trace a conclusion to its inputs, compare options and see what remains uncertain.
Free reading and personal work are different
Free Zi Wei and Qi Men readings are generated by the system. They are not individually reviewed by a consultant. Personal consultation adds agreed checks of the supplied material, discussion of context and a written record within the agreed scope. Zi Wei and Yi Ce readings, source notes, exports and local records are available in Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Their English pages are guides. Date Planning is interactive in all three languages.
What a useful written record contains
- Situation and inputs
- Your question, relevant dates, the records supplied, their sources and any missing or uncertain information.
- Traditional reading
- The method and calculation conditions used; the meaning of the relevant chart relationships. No precise chart conclusion where the necessary inputs are absent.
- Real-world checks
- What records actually establish, which interpretations remain hypotheses, and which alternative explanations should be considered.
- Options and trade-offs
- What can be changed, at what cost, with what restrictions; why doing nothing may be a reasonable option.
- Action and review
- A responsible person, an observable measure and a review point linked to the situation. Contradictory evidence and unsuccessful actions stay in the record.
These are quality criteria, not a fixed promise of five documents. The actual sections, length, marked drawings and follow-ups are confirmed in the service agreement.
Read the work before deciding
The sample follows a small office asking whether to move or first change its working arrangements. You can inspect a receivables table, missing information, the limits of traditional analysis, three options and a review record. Every figure is synthetic; there is no client outcome claim.
What to confirm before payment
Confirm the question, total fee, delivery date, report format, attachments, communication arrangements and any included review. Also agree how factual errors, additional questions, missing material and cancellation are handled. No published sample creates an automatic entitlement to site visits or unlimited follow-ups.
How to judge the report you receive
- Are the facts correct? Identify the original sentence and the corrected information before acting on it.
- Is the proposal feasible? Check cost, permissions, safety and relevant professional advice. Start with a reversible option when possible.
- What would change the conclusion? Agree a review point and keep adverse or inconclusive results. A failed suggestion does not automatically mean poor execution.
A recommendation must explain its conditions
Read the alternatives, the strongest objection, the assumptions, the longer-term costs and the reason for the proposed next step. A credible answer may be to pause, keep the current arrangement or seek another professional.
